Zabe Espresso Bar in Tewantin
What to live like a local while in Noosa? Our resident locals Luka Langdon and Ryan Austin recon Zabe Espresso Bar in Tewantin is a great place to start.
Tewantin has a great old-country town feel
Tewantin is often overlooked from the tourist trail. But that’s unfortunate, as it’s a top little spot just on the outskirts of Noosa with a cool, country town feel.
On one of their recent outings Luka and Ryan decided to go to Zabe Espresso Bar in Tewantin as Noosaville was a touch busy. Also because Zabe Espresso Bar is one of Ryan’s favourite cafes in the Noosa area.
Great coffee, food and retro theme
He recommends it because it’s a funky retro themed cafe and bar in the main street of Tewantin. Nice healthy foods and drinks can be found here.
The food is great. Luka recommends the bliss balls and Ryan the brioche.
The memorabilia are also really interesting. These include old dial phones, records and their sleeves, and all sorts of interesting bits and pieces from the 60 and beyond.
Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday a local plays the piano from 10am till noon. Evenings the bar is popular and sometimes they have live music.
Luka and Ryan are not the only ones to love Zabe Espresso Bar in Tewantin. Here’s what some of our other locals had to say on social media. One thing is for sure, great coffee is THE consistent theme.

Great coffee, friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere
My wife and I love Zabe. Chilled out vibe, switched on baristas, and great Clandestino coffee.
